OH&S: Initial Hazard Identification

Essential Property Services provides clients with an 'Initial Hazard Identification Report.' The Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 and Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 2008, including policies guidelines and Australian Standards require that either the building owner, occupier or employer meet specific obligations to ensure a safe work environment (namely, the building and surrounds) exists for employees and visitors alike. An initial hazard identification report assists in providing a safe work environment.

EPS initial hazard identification reports cover the following hazards:

  • Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 Building structure
  • Egress:stairs:access
  • Emergency lights
  • Exit signs
  • Fences
  • Fire services
  • Hazardous goods
  • Rubbish
  • Slipping

The Initial Hazard Identification Report can be provided as a separate service to our Essential Fire Safety Installation Reports.
