EPS provides clients with a comprehensive fire safety installations and special fire services service, ensuring building owners, managers, owner corporations, building engineers and tenants are able to meet their obligations, including the provision of an Annual Occupiers Statement under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR). EPS knowledge, experience, systems and qualified staff are all applied to ensure compliance of fire safety installations on behalf of clients and to enable the fire safety installations and special fire services inspections process to be signed off at Annual Occupiers Statement stage.

Essential Property Services provides a qualified Fire Safety Advisor service for high occupancy buildings or for those buildings above 25 metres in effective height, as prescribed within the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR). Our Fire Safety Advisors can manage and review all of our clients fire safety needs with regards to regulatory compliance by offering consultation services and liaison with regulatory authorities. Through Emergency Plan we can review emergency and evacuation plans and procedures, set up Emergency Planning Committees and Emergency Control Organisations within the workplace to ensure compliance with Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR) is maintained within each building.

EPS also draw on HENDRY Building Surveying Consultants knowledge, expertise and experience in building regulations and control to provide professional advice in all matters relating to municipal council building notices, building orders, fire brigade orders, procedures, documents and annual occupier's statement required under the fire safety installation requirements of the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR). We negotiate on behalf of our clients to address problems clients may have with authorities throughout Queensland.
