Fire Safety Installations Staff

Essential Property Services places great emphases on ensuring staff are equipped to perform the wide variety of fire safety installations functions required by our clients. Most of our staff are drawn from industry or are qualified building practitioners registered with the necessary statutory authorities where required to perform fire safety installations inspections. EPS staff have the relevant fire safety installations qualifications and experience applicable to new buildings and existing buildings, together with sound knowledge of risk assessment processes and emergency planning under Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR).

EPS maintains staff fire safety installations competency levels in order to provide a quality service, and ensure the expectations of our clients are continually met. Our building assessors (inspectors/auditors) have a broad-cross section of tertiary and trade qualifications including building surveying, building inspection, facilities management and engineering. EPS staff are kept abreast of current fire safety installations issues by continuing professional development to ensure their continuity of registration, and best practice outcomes for our clients.

All types of buildings in the property industry have been inspected and audited for their fire safety installations by our building assessors. Our staff are well qualified and have a wealth of experience in the delivery and implementation of the tasks requested by clients. We are registered building surveyors and building inspectors to practice the profession of building surveying and inspection in Queensland through the HENDRY Building Surveying Consultants.

EPS staff have fire safety installations experience with local government, State government, authorities and private enterprise, while HENDRY Building Surveying Consultants also possess fire engineering qualifications. These qualifications safeguard our client's interests when our building surveyors are called upon to evaluate consultant reports relative to issues on their buildings.

On completion of the construction of new buildings or existing buildings, Emergency Plan can provide evacuation signs for all types of buildings. These signs are required under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 (BFSR).
